Sydney Brown, Ph.D. is a Consulting Psychologist and the Founder of SEB Consulting, bringing over a decade of experience helping companies—from early-stage startups to publicly traded enterprises—navigate leadership, talent, and organizational challenges. Her expertise is rooted in both hands-on industry experience and an extensive academic background.
Before launching SEB Consulting, Sydney worked with venture capital firms and companies ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 giants at Rich Talent Group, a Bay Area and NYC-based executive search firm. She began her career in public relations at LifeLock and later Symantec, where she developed a deep understanding of corporate strategy and communications.
Sydney holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She has also served as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where she taught Executive MBA students in courses on Executive Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness.
